As you all might notice I haven't been all that active on DA lately.
It's hard to find the motivation at the moment. A lot of things have changed in my life since graduating and it tends to get busier and busier. I find it hard to enjoy drawing things lately. I hope that will change soon though. I still have to finish some gift art I promised ages ago... I also want to do some orca art again, but first I need my drawing spirit back..

I still watch everyone's art here and hope to find the time to comment and fav again. And submit some more art cuz it's going downhill.

So for now I'll be watching you guys from the shadows so to speak.
Expect some new art but don't ask me when.

So now DA decides to remove the resize option huh? Don't they realize that there are a lot of artists here who use it 24/7? I use it everytime I upload artwork to avoid art theft... The bigger you upload your work the easier it gets for people to steal stuff. And now that there's no more resizing in DA I have to resize all my drawings and photos manually... Even more work if you ask me.

Oh and one other thing: why o why does this site still loads soooooo slow? Everytime I want to check my message center I have to wait for 15 freakin minutes? Now why is that? I don't know if other people are having the same problem but it really starts to freak me out. Does anyone know how I can fix those loading problems? It's not that I'm using some outdated browser, it's the newest version of Firefox goddammit!

And the worst of all: I paid for a premium membership two months ago... What a waste of money!.. sigh.. I miss the old DA...

I wonder how long it will take for this journal to get uploaded.... what about an hour, DA? Long enough for you?
Pfff...I'm fighting the urge to eat my laptop...

Yesterday my guinea pig Vincent died... One week ago I went to the vet because he suffered severe diarrhea and didn't eat and drink anymore. I had to keep him inside for a week and force-feed him fluids and meds. After some days he looked a lot better and started eating again. I was really glad and thought he could make it. But still I was a bit worried because he didn't put on enough weight.
So yesterday, on Christmas, he was no more...

So long, Vincy. I couldn't save you, but I hope you're in a better place now...

...GO WATCH AVATAR IN 3D!

Seriously, I was completely blown away I think I almost squeezed my boyfriend to death in some scenes... (I think I was munching on his clothes too...) It really felt like you were in the middle of the movie. Everything looked so realistic. The characters, the plants, the animals, the ENTIRE jungle for crying out loud. The CGI was mindblowing to say the least. So I wasn't surprised to find WETA workshop in the end titles. Ever since Lord of the Rings these guys are the bomb when it comes to CGI and motion capture. How many emotion can you put in one CGI character to make it look sooo believable? I bow to your awesomeness
The story might be a bit corny and predictable, but it came with a strong message and was still enjoyable to watch till the very end.

So thanks James Cameron. I didn't give you much credit for Titanic, but sure as hell I'm giving it now.
